CUTP
- I am uploading this document mainly due to the presense of the Competency Assessment Software functional flowchart I referenced in the 4 February WG11 meeting. The rest of it is the presentation I will make to SALT in Orlando the last week of February. I felt this material would be useful to help explain the CAS concept. I confess I am not a code person and I've done this work in desperation as the current data models and standards simply are inadequate for a true competency assurance system...something I passionately belief all the world should adopt rather than "training." I am uploading a separate document that defines some the terms and how the digital domain and analog domain are harmonized. I realize the explanatory notes aren't too complete, but the fact is I am writing a book from this material...which suggests it isn't that easy to condense. However, that book is targeted to individuals with far less understanding of the issues than this group, so I hope it will be adequate. I'll be happy to answer any questions and to present the CAS model a date of the groups convenience.
