IEEE LTSC - LETSI Study Group

Study Group Scope

The scope of the study group is to define the parts of a multi-part standard that satisfies the intent of the original AICC CMI submission to the IEEE LTSC but that is also relevant to current requirements.  The study group will be a collaborative activity between IEEE ISTO LETSI and the IEEE LTSC and will consider procedures to accelerate the pace of standards development.  The IEEE Standards Association (SA) has agreed to make copies of the 1484.11 series of standards available to study group members for review and comment.  The study group will evaluate the IEEE-ISO Partner Standards Development Organization (PSDO) agreement and strategies to progress IEEE LTSC WG 11 (CMI) standards as ISO-IEC standards.  The planned completion date for the study group is June 1, 2010.
