Schedule

Formal standardization activities have a reputation for taking considerable time to complete. 

The schedule goal for the 1484.11.1 data model revision is to follow an aggressive pace that will result in the completion of the revision in calendar 2011. This goal seems reasonable as the project begins but may need to be adjusted.

The initial skeletal plan is as follows:

January 2011: PAR approval, work begins on revision

January - March 2011: Gathering comments from stakeholders

March - June 2011: Preparation of balloting draft

July - December 2011: cycles of balloting and ballot comment resolution
